The Reachers low profile wrist has embedded LED spotlights and an embedded gripper camera. Rotating & Sliding Turret The forward and reverse sliding motion of the ±220° rotating turret further increases the reach and manoeuvrability of the robotic arm. Stability while reaching is ensured by central bogie locking mechanism. Carries Under-car Robot The Reacher carries the Remote Disruptor Platform (RDP) within its chassis to an incident and can deploy it when observation or disruptor capabilities are needed in low clearance situations.  The Reacher can use the RDP to get a 3rd person perspective view on itself. The RDP can also be used to position X-Ray sources such as the XRS-200/300, leaving Reacher free to position the X-Ray panel. Steep Climber With its six independently driven wheels, advanced suspension system and inertial stabilization system the Reacher is a steady climber tackling inclines of up to 38° terrain dependent. Steerable Back Wheels The Reacher is the 1st ROV to have both skid steer and also Ackerman steering via the rear axle. This allows Reacher save battery power and tyre wear when making long trips to incidents. It also allows Reacher to get out of trouble if it sinks in very soft ground. Its manipulator arm has 6 degrees of freedom with variable speed control of its electronic actuators. Its lift capacity is 75 kg arm retracted and 30 kg arm fully extended. Operating Range The R-Evolve using the latest COFDM technology and Military Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum has an operating range up to 1 km in built up areas and 1 km + with line-of-sight. The R-Evolve may also be cable controlled up to 150 m in Electronic Counter Measure conditions. Fail-safe Firing Circuits The R-Evolve has four independent fail-safe firing circuits. The firing system firing sequence is initiated with a removable safety key. A five second countdown take place before firing during which a warning beacon flashes and a siren sounds. Extended Functionality Additional functionality can be extended to the R-Evolve such as X-ray, Remote Disruptor Platform (RDP) for under-car and low clearance operations, CBRN sensors and a R-Evolve training simulator. Command Console The Command Console is packed full of useful features such as camera environment settings for improved light levels, an LCD touchscreen which works in direct sunlight and while wearing gloves, speakers which receive audio from the R-Evolve and a key activated weapons screen with self test and diagnostic feedback. Disruptors The disruptor position is remotely adjustable and has a camera for accurate positioning. The disruptor mounts are replaceable allowing quick change and mounting of disruptors or de-armers. Communication Control of the RDP is through the Command Console which relays RDP control through the larger robot to the RDP. The RDP is compatible with Reacher, R-Evolve and the Digital HOBO upgrade. Riddler can be put into the boot of a car for quick or discrete transportation. Ability, size and price make Riddler a cost effective solution for smaller security and bomb disposal units. Functionality Riddler’s primary use is security and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). Additional functionality can be extended to the Riddler such as X-ray, CBRN sensors and a Riddler training simulator. Control Riddler is operated via the Command Console or the Wireless Hand-Controller.  The Command Console operating range is up to 1 km non-line-of-sight and 1 km + line-of-sight.  The Wireless Hand-Controller is ideal for loading, unloading and close-by control (up to 10 m range).     Climbing Ability Riddler has two heavy duty tracks and an actuator driven variable angle front ramp which allow it to travel over the most difficult of terrains. Riddler can climb stairs up to 43° and climb 45° on difficult slopes. Training Simulator A plugin unit can be connected to the Command Console which turns the Command Console into a training environment with simulated onscreen scenarios responding to Command Console control.
